Certified Passivhaus Designer (Principal)

Formed Andrew Goodman Architecture in 1990 after working for Cambridge Design/ Design Group Cambridge on commercial and housing projects for Cambridge college, business and developer clients.

The practice name was changed to Good Architecture in 2008 after completing Passive House Planning Package (PHPP) training. This was followed by training in Thermal Bridges – Calculating PSI values using THERM and other AECB Passivhaus Designer course modules before taking the Certified Passivhaus Designer exam in October 2011.

Member of the Passivhaus Trust Technical Panel and Transition Hertford.

Abbie Davies BA(Hons) Prof Dip

(Part 2 Architectural Assistant)

Studied architecture and planning at the University of West England. Worked in London on urban design and architecture projects before joining Good Architecture in 2009.

Completed Passive House Planning Package (PHPP) training and training in Thermal Bridges – Calculating PSI values using THERM in 2009.

In 2011 completed the Professional Diplma in Architecture: Advanced Environmental and Energy Studies at the Centre for Alternative Technology (Part 2), and is currently studying the Professional Practice and Management in Architecture (Part 3) course at the University of West England.
